Kate Ambler is a skilled ski instructor currently working at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort since November 2025. With extensive experience in outdoor education and logistics, Kate served as a logistics coordinator and later as a trip leader for Wilderness Adventures earlier in 2025, overseeing gear management and ensuring smooth operations for youth programs in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Past roles include instructing skiing at Snowbird, providing afterschool activities at the I.J. & Jeanné Wagner Jewish Community Center, and leading backpacking trips with YMCA of Northern Utah. Kate’s background includes mountaineering staff roles at Camp Merrie-Woode and a foundational experience with the French Swiss Ski College. Kate holds a Bachelor's degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism from the University of Utah, and completed a NOLS course in 2020.
