Jayson Felty

Jayson Felty currently serves as the Head Librarian and Discovery and Metadata Librarian at The Jackson Laboratory, a position held since June 2022. Prior to this role, Jayson held multiple positions at Texas Biomedical Research Institute from August 2007 to February 2022, including Director of Library & Information Services, Director of Library Services, and Information Services Librarian. Jayson also worked as a Windows System Administrator at Rackspace Managed Hosting from August 2006 to August 2007 and as a Programmer at UT Health San Antonio from December 1997 to August 2006. Educationally, Jayson earned a Master of Science in Information Science with a focus on Librarianship from the University of North Texas between 2003 and 2005, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science from Colorado College in 1992.
