Kate Homer

Kate Homer has extensive work experience in finance and corporate development. Kate began their career at Booz Allen Hamilton in 2000 as an Associate and worked there until 2004. Kate then joined KBR, Inc. as a Sr. Financial Analyst before returning to Booz Allen Hamilton in 2005 as an Associate. In 2008, they joined Evergreen Energy as a Sr. Financial Analyst and worked there until 2010. Kate then moved to Trimble Navigation as a Sr. Financial Analyst from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they joined OPX Biotechnologies, Inc. as Manager of Financial Planning until 2014. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at SomaLogic as a Senior Manager of Financial Analysis. Since 2017, they have been with The Jackson Laboratory, where they held the roles of Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, Associate Director, Office of the COO, and currently serves as the Director of Finance, Corporate Development.

Kate Homer obtained a BS degree in Finance from Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business in the years 1997-2000. In addition, they pursued an MBA for Executives in Asset Management at Yale School of Management from 2019-2021. Kate also holds additional certifications in strategic management of blockchain from UBC Sauder School of Business and in launching a first business from ESMT Berlin, both obtained in 2020.
