Melanie Moon

Melanie Moon is an accomplished professional in the life sciences industry with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Vice President of Global Commercial Operations at The Jackson Laboratory, Melanie previously held significant positions at NanoString Technologies, Inc., including Senior Director of Business Unit Lead for Spatial and Global Sales Director, as well as founding and leading the Women In NanoString Employee Resource Group. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Biosciences at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Director of Area Sales and Inside Sales at QIAGEN, and Territory Sales Representative at Affymetrix. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology from Millersville University of Pennsylvania, which was completed in 2003.
