Scott Golde has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Scott started their career as an Attorney at Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C. in 1998. Scott then worked as an Assistant U.S. Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Division from 2002 to 2005. Following that, they became a Partner at Armstrong Teasdale LLP from 2005 to 2008. Scott joined Edward Jones in 2008 as a Senior Compliance Counsel and worked there until 2011. Scott then moved to Scottrade, where they held various positions including Associate General Counsel and Director of Legal from 2011 to 2015. Scott worked for Jackson from 2016 onwards, starting as AVP, Legal for Asset Management and Broker Dealer, and progressing to VP, Legal for Investigations, Regulatory Enforcement and Litigation. Scott then served as VP, Deputy General Counsel - Insurance before their current role as SVP, Enterprise Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer and Deputy General Counsel.

Scott Golde obtained a J.D. degree in Law from Washington University in St. Louis in 1998. Prior to that, they earned a B.A. degree in Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington in 1992. Additionally, they obtained several certifications in the financial industry, including Series 10, Series 24, Series 66, Series 7, and Series 9, all obtained in 2008.
