Steven Schultz has a strong background in technology and infrastructure management. Steven started their career at JEA in 2000 as the Director of Financial Systems and later moved on to become the Director of Data Warehousing. In 2004, they transitioned to the role of Director of Technology Infrastructure, overseeing telecom, servers, and help desk support. During their tenure, they avoided $1.2 million of capital expenditure and achieved a $500,000 decrease in server support costs. From 2010 to 2012, Steven served as the Director of the Technology Project Management Office, where they developed the 5-year IT Business Plan and managed a portfolio of projects valued at $20 million. Since 2012, they have held the position of Director of Information Technology at Crossroad 53 LLC, where they are responsible for all aspects of IT deployment.

Steven Schultz obtained an MBA in Business Administration from the University of North Florida - College of Business Administration, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Before that, they completed their undergraduate degree in Secondary Education, Mathematics at the University of North Florida, from 1988 to 1992. In addition to their formal education, Steven has obtained several certifications, including "The Future of Performance Management," "Becoming Indistractable," "Learn Emotional Intelligence, the Key Determiner of Success," "Systems Thinking," "Creating a Business Plan," "Digital Transformation," and "International Airport Professional (IAP) from Airports Council International." These certifications were attained between 2016 and 2020 from institutions such as LinkedIn and Airports Council International - ACI World.
