Jim Johnson

Jim Johnson is currently the Director at Jacksonville Symphony. Prior to that, they were with FIS from January 2009 to December 2014 where they were Division Executive for the Retail Payments Division. In that role, they managed business executives in Sales, Account Management, Operations, Product, Client Management, IT, Development, Project Management and Implementations. Jim also introduced several new products to the market including mobile check deposit and guarantee, Access Anywhere, iGaming, walk in financial services & mobile gift card. Additionally, they managed client relationships with top 50 of the top 100 US retailers and over 100K total retailers.

Before FIS, Jim was with Metavante from January 2003 to December 2006 as Vice President and General Manager of the EFT Business Line. In that role, they directly managed product development, software development, service delivery, account management, operations, conversions and implementations, customer support, call centers and voice systems. Jim also indirectly managed sales and marketing, finance, technology, legal, and HR.

Jim's first role at Metavante was as Corporate Treasurer from January 2002 to December 2002.

Jim Johnson has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration with a focus in finance from Marquette University.
