Mauri Hamilton

Mauri Hamilton has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Starting with a Sales Associate Cashier at New York & Company, they then moved to a Sales Associate at Coach, followed by a Bingo Clerk at Sycuan Casino. In 2013, they became an Office Manager and Assistant Property Manager at Bayview Community Development Corporation. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Project Assistant at the Lemon Grove HEAL Zone and the Independent Living Association with Community Health Improvement Partners. In 2019, they were a Grant Writer at the Urban League of San Diego County, and in 2020, they became an Independent Consultant with Community Health Improvement Partners. In 2021, they were a Project Coordinator and Consultant - Grant Writer at the San Diego City College Foundation, and they are currently an Operations Manager- Economic Development Dept. at the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation.

Mauri Hamilton received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Women's Studies from San Diego State University in 2011. Prior to that, they attended Seaside High School from 2000 to 2004. In 2021, they obtained a Fundraising Essentials Certificate Program from NonprofitReady. In 2013, they obtained a Crime-Free Multi-Housing Program from the San Diego Police Department.
