Marisa Costa Penteado

Marisa Costa Penteado has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Starting in 1996, they worked as a Process Engineer at The Dow Chemical Company for over a year. Marisa then joined Unilever in 1997 and held various managerial positions, including Process Engineering Manager, Maintenance and Manufacturing Manager, Supply Management, and Manufacturing Manager. In 2008, they moved to Elektro as a Regional Operations Manager for two years. Following that, they joined Natura in 2010, where they served as a Senior Procurement Manager until 2015 and then as a Senior Supply Planning Manager until 2017. Marisa took a sabbatical in 2017 before joining Jacobs Douwe Egberts in 2018 as a Planning and S&OP Senior Manager. In July 2021, they transitioned to the role of Operations Director for Brazil at the same company.

Marisa Costa Penteado completed a Micromasters on Supply Chain Management from MITx Courses in 2018. Marisa also obtained additional certifications in various supply chain topics from MITx on edX in 2017 and 2018. In 2020, they completed the Programa Lideres que Inspiram e Transformam from Fundação Dom Cabral. In 1995, they graduated from Universidade Estadual de Campinas with a degree in Engenharia Quimica.
