Maxon Widner is an accomplished Mission Design Engineer Team Lead at Jacobs, with extensive experience in space exploration and trajectory design. Since joining Jacobs in June 2018, Maxon has successfully led multidisciplinary teams in collaboration with NASA on significant projects such as the Artemis II-IV missions and the Human Landing System for Blue Origin and SpaceX. Maxon specializes in mission trajectory and software development, serving as the lead for Artemis IV and V mission design while also advancing machine learning applications in orbital trajectory design. Prior roles include Advanced Mission Design Engineer, Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, Liaison Engineer at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, and Aircraft Powertrain Repairer in the US Army. Maxon holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
