Karisa D. has over twenty years of experience in Human Resources. Karisa began their career in 1998 as an Assistant Benefits Examiner (Workers Compensation) for the New York City Law Department. In 2001, they moved to Pathways to Housing as the Assistant Director of Human Resources, where they managed nine staff members and an internship program. In 2011, Karisa moved to AgroTrade America as the Human Resources Manager, where they strategically developed the human resources department for a start up company. In 2012, Karisa became a Corporate Account Manager at Enterprise Holdings. In 2014, they moved to the City of Miami Beach as the HR Compensation Manager, where they partnered with all functions to create and implement HR practices in the Compensation division. From 2016 to 2018, Karisa worked at Georgia State University as a Classification and Compensation Analyst. Most recently, Karisa has been the Director of Human Resources at Jacob's Eye Marketing Agency, where they manage and develops the human resources department.
