Christian Hinrichs

Christian Hinrichs is a Professor at Jade Hochschule in the Faculty of Business and Society since September 2021 and has also served as a lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering Sciences. From December 2016 to August 2024, Christian held various positions at BTC - Business Technology Consulting AG, including Management Consultant and Team Leader in the Data Science & Artificial Intelligence team, as well as serving as a Senior Consultant and Data Engineer. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Scientific Associate at Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg, focusing on applied computer science, environmental informatics, modeling, simulation, and energy systems. Christian began the career as a Java Application Developer at P3 automotive GmbH and gained experience as a student assistant at OFFIS - Institut für Informatik in energy and business information management. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Science, a Master's degree in Computer Science, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, all obtained from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg.
