Sam Brownless

Sam Brownless has a diverse work experience with various roles in different companies. They began their career as a Bank Teller/Cashier at ABSA Bank in 2001. They then worked as a Web Developer at TSDN Mobile Internet from 2002 to 2005 and later at BEE Business Strategies from March to August 2005. From 2005 to 2012, they worked at Touch Briefings, starting as a Senior Software Developer and later becoming the Web Development Manager.

In 2012, they joined LighterLife as a Technical Project Manager and worked there until March 2014. They then worked as a Product Owner (ecommerce) at Bourne Leisure for a year before moving to TUI in June 2015, where they worked as an Agile Delivery Manager until December 2017.

In 2018, they joined James Hay Partnership as a Scrum Master and worked there until December 2018. From January 2019 to September 2021, they worked as a Scrum Master at Volkswagen Financial Services (UK). Their most recent position is at Jagex, where they started as a Delivery Lead in September 2021.

Sam Brownless attended Victoria Park High School from 1996 to 2000, where they studied English, Biology, and Business Economics. In 2001, they briefly attended Damelin for Web Development and Design. Additionally, Sam has obtained several certifications, including Certified Agile Leadership Essentials, Certified Agile Leadership for Organizations, Certified Scrum Professional, Advanced Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Scrum Master, and Certified Scrum Product Owner.
