Lisa Offringa

Lisa Offringa, PhD, is a seasoned expert in plant biology and ethnobotany, currently serving as Senior Manager at Brightseed since June 2021, where Lisa established the Plant Biology Department and leads plant sourcing and management initiatives. Offringa has also worked with Jaguar Health on the Entheogen Therapeutics Initiative, focusing on developing plant-based medicines for mental health disorders. With a strong academic background, including a PhD in Botany/Plant Biology from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine, Offringa has held various teaching and research roles, including positions as a lecturer and course instructor at prestigious institutions. Furthermore, experience at The Clorox Company as a Senior Scientist and founding Botaniculture International showcases their comprehensive expertise in product development and research within the botanical field.
