Sumit Modani

Sumit Modani has extensive experience in the banking and finance industry, holding various senior roles in multiple companies. Sumit is currently the Vice President of Banking Alliances at Jai Kisan since October 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head of MSME for the North region at atyati MSME Lending from May 2019 to October 2022. Sumit also worked as an Area Head of Sales for Mortgages at Reliance Money from August 2018 to May 2019 and as a Senior Vice President of Structured Finance at Finmax Credit and Finance Pvt. Ltd from October 2017 to August 2018. Before that, they held positions at HSBC as Vice President of Inclusive Banking from October 2016 to April 2017, at Yes Bank as Senior Vice President of Priority Sector Lending from August 2011 to April 2016, at Axis Bank as Senior Manager & State Head of Agri Rural from October 2006 to July 2011, and at ICICI Bank as Deputy Manager of Emerging Markets from November 2005 to October 2006.

Sumit Modani completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree at Commerce College, Jaipur from 1997 to 2000. Sumit then pursued further studies at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they completed their Chartered Accountant qualification from 1998 to 2004.
