Vengatesan Balasubramanian

Vengatesan Balasubramanian has a diverse work experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. Vengatesan started their career at Tata Consultancy Services in 2011 as a Software Functional Test Analyst, working on Mainframe legacy enhancements for Nielsen Media Research. From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Data Migration Test Lead for the same project, overseeing the migration of Mainframe Legacy applications data to PostgreSQL using the Talend ETL tool.

In 2016, Vengatesan joined Tata Consultancy Services as an Agile Automation Test Engineer for the Home Office DBS project, focused on modernizing the paper system to an online web application for British Citizen Criminal Record verification.

In 2019, they joined Monedo Holding GmbH as a Senior Software QA Engineer, responsible for automation tasks using Cypress and Selenium in a machine-learning based consumer lending web platform. Vengatesan also played a role in the release process and maintaining QA repositories in Git.

Vengatesan continued their career as an Automation Test Engineer at CoachHub, a digital coaching platform, from 2021 to 2022. Vengatesan then moved to Jaja Finance in 2022 as an Automation Test Engineer, where they currently hold their position.

Vengatesan Balasubramanian completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Anna University from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended Vetri Vikaas Higher Secondary School from 2005 to 2007, where they pursued a Higher Secondary degree in Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Vengatesan has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they earned the TOSCA certification from Udemy. In 2013, they achieved the ITIL Foundation Exam certification from APMG International and the ISTQB Foundation certification from the Indian Testing Board. Furthermore, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance® in 2018.
