Mike Dwyer

Senior Vice President, Legal at Jakks Pacific

Mike Dwyer has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Mike first joined JAKKS Pacific in 2004 as the company's first in-house attorney, where they were responsible for all legal matters. Mike also oversaw the global Human Resources function from 2004 to 2009. After working at Falcon Water Technologies for three years, Mike returned to JAKKS Pacific in 2015 as the Senior Vice President of Legal, handling legal matters impacting the international company's operations. Additionally, Mike co-founded Malibu Discovery in 2010 and held the role of Co-Founder & CEO until the successful exit in 2014. Mike currently serves on the company's Board of Advisors. Mike is also actively involved in various organizations, including serving as the General Counsel Roundtable Co-Chair for NACD, a Board of Directors Member for Phoenix House, and a President and Board Member for ACC Southern California. Before joining JAKKS Pacific, Mike held positions at NMB (USA) Inc., Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro LLP, and Alleco Inc. Overall, Mike has extensive experience in legal and leadership roles across multiple industries.

Mike Dwyer received a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Government and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia. Mike later pursued a Juris Doctor (JD) at St. John's University School of Law. Currently, they are attending Pepperdine University Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, focusing on Mediation with a specialization in the Litigated Case and additional coursework.
