Juan Carlos Calderón Cuellar has a diverse work experience. Juan Carlos started their career in 2005 as a Freelancer at a Software Company. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at Mnemo as a Java Developer, involved in the maintenance of web applications developed in Java EE or Spring. Juan Carlos then took on the role of Java Team Leader, leading and managing a team of 10 developers, coordinating production tasks with Spain offices and organizing continuous training for the team. In 2014, they joined Fundación Jala as a Grant Holder, where they worked with tools like C++, C#, and REST API, implementing continuous integration and delivery and contributing to projects using AngularJS and Scrum. Juan Carlos also had an internship at Fundación Jala, where they designed and developed an Automation Framework based on Coded UI.
In 2015, Calderón Cuellar joined Jalasoft as a Software Development Engineer, where they improved the web service architecture by using DNN Web API and updating configurations and resources. Juan Carlos then progressed to the role of Staff Software Development Engineer, working with Microsoft Azure, .NET Framework, Docker, C#, and other tools for the project. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Software Development Engineer at Jalasoft.
Throughout their career, Calderón Cuellar has gained extensive experience in software development, project management, continuous integration and delivery, and working with various programming languages and tools.
Juan Carlos Calderón Cuellar holds a degree in Engineering, specifically in Systems Engineering, from the Universidad Técnica de Oruro. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications in the field of technology. These certifications include being a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) in Web Applications and a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) in App Builder, both obtained in July 2019. Juan Carlos also holds the Jalasoft Certified Software Development Professional certification, obtained in December 2016. Furthermore, they have obtained two Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certifications: one in Database Fundamentals in August 2015 and another in Software Development Fundamentals in April 2015.
