Mario Maldari

Director of Solution Architects at Jama Software

Mario Maldari is currently the Director of Solution Architects at Jama Software. Prior to that, they were the Lead Software Quality Engineer at Rational Software from October 2000 to March 2003. Mario then went on to become the Chief System Test Architect (ELM) and Master Inventor at IBM from March 2003 to March 2016. As the Lead Software Quality Engineer at Rational Software, Maldari was responsible for leading various test engineering teams and improving overall process and test strategies. Mario was also appointed QSE Top Gun for the Rational brand.

At IBM, Maldari continued to lead various test engineering teams and improved upon process and test strategies. Mario was also appointed to the Rational Invention Review Board (IRB) as a voting member and eventually became a IBM Master Inventor in October 2015. As a Master Inventor, Maldari was responsible for shepherding inventions and working with inventors to focus on novel aspects of their disclosures.

Maldari has extensive experience in the software development lifecycle from requirements elicitation to testing and deployment. Mario is an expert in software testing and has helped develop multiple patent applications, grants, and IP publications.

Mario Maldari has a certification from LinkedIn in Communicating with Empathy, Leading with Emotional Intelligence, and Learning Vagrant. Mario also has a certification from IBM in IBM Cloud Pak for Security Sales Foundations and IBM Cloud Pak for Security Technical Sales Engineer. Finally, they have a certification from LinkedIn in Design a Cloud Migration Strategy and Learning Kubernetes.
