Elon Clarke

Elon Clarke has extensive experience in military and emergency services, currently serving as Brigade Commander with the Jamaica Defence Force since April 2002, where various roles have included Colonel Adjutant Quartermaster, Senior Staff Officer - Personnel and Administration, Commanding Officer, and Senior Staff Officer - Strategy and Plans. Additional experience includes serving as a Foreign Liaison Officer for the Joint Interagency Task Force South from January 2018 to July 2020, and as a Fire Fighter with the Jamaica Fire Brigade from September 1998 to April 2002. Elon Clarke has pursued advanced education, earning a Master of Arts in International Security and Strategy from King's College London in 2023, a Master of Business Administration from the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean, a Master of Science in Security and Risk Management from the University of Leicester, and a Diploma in Military Operational Art and Science from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Education began at Rusea's High School, where a secondary diploma was obtained.
