Charitha Fernando has extensive work experience in various roles. They started their career in 2013 as the Head of Risk and Compliance at Celebration Brands Ltd, a subsidiary of Red Stripe and Pepsi-Cola Jamaica. They held this position until January 2016. In 2017, Fernando joined Ernst & Young (Jamaica) as a Senior Manager and worked there until October 2022. Currently, they are serving as the Internal Audit Director at Jamaica Public Service Company Limited, starting from November 2022.
Charitha Fernando obtained a Master of Science in Accounting from The University of the West Indies. This degree was completed between 2000 and 2002.
