Tania McDonald-Tomlinson

Tania McDonald-Tomlinson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tania began their career as a Flight Attendant at Air Jamaica in 1987, where they worked until 1993. Tania then joined Mayberry Investments Ltd. in 2004 as a Human Resources Manager, eventually rising to the position of Vice President of Human Resources from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, Tania joined Jamaica Public Service Company Limited as the Head of Department for Human Resources. Tania later assumed the role of Head of Department for Recruitment & Employee Services from 2017 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Director in the Strategic Workforce Management, People Operations Division at Jamaica Public Service Company Limited. In this role, they are responsible for formulating, implementing, and monitoring staffing and employee services strategies to achieve the organization's objectives. Tania also oversees recruitment initiatives and manages internal and external resources dedicated to staffing and recruitment within JPS.

Tania McDonald-Tomlinson completed their MSc in Human Resources Development at The University of the West Indies, Mona from 2006 to 2008. Tania also obtained a BSc in Human Resources Management from the University College of the Caribbean. In 2016, they received certification as a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in PROSCI Change Management from the same institution, although the year of completion is unknown.
