Anne Engammare McBride

Anne Engammare McBride, PhD is currently the Vice President of Programs at The James Beard Foundation, where Anne leads strategic development and operationalization of various initiatives. Anne also works as a Freelance Food Writer and Editor at Pots and Plumes, an Adjunct Professor at New York University, and has held various leadership roles at institutions like The Culinary Institute of America and Torribera Mediterranean Center. Anne has a PhD in Food Studies from New York University and a B.A. in Journalism and History from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
