Kathy Kopiec

Kathy Kopiec has 20 years of experience in program evaluation and applied social science research with substantive knowledge in mental health services and child welfare. Her work has focused on programs related to child welfare services, child and adolescent development, domestic violence, and comprehensive community-based initiatives and interagency collaboration.

Kopiec assists with data collection, analysis, and synthesis for the Cross-Center Evaluation of the Child Welfare Capacity Building Collaborative; she also supports a subcontract to the American Bar Association Center on Children and the Law to help develop national performance measures for child welfare courts, judges, and attorneys. She previously worked on the Evaluation of the Cook Inlet Tribal Council Regional Partnership Grant project.

Kopiec received an M.S.W. from Smith College School for Social Work​ and an M.A. in sociology from the University of New Hampshire.
