Sue Staunton

Sue Staunton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic business development, restructuring, and insolvency. As the Managing Partner of James Cowper Kreston since December 2004, Sue leads the firm's technology sector team and services a diverse range of clients, including those in biotech, pharmaceuticals, IT, and physical sciences. In addition to this role, Sue serves as an External Member of the University Finance Committee at the University of Oxford since 2015 and as a Board Trustee for the Oxford Playhouse, an independent theatre, from September 2014 to May 2024. Prior to joining James Cowper Kreston, Sue was a Client Service Director in the National Technology Team at Grant Thornton from 1984 to 2004. Sue holds a MA in Modern History from the University of Oxford, completed in 1984.
