John van Meter

John Van Meter has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. John currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at JC Law: The Law Office of James E. Crawford, Jr. & Associates, LLC since 2023. Prior to this, John worked as an HR Consultant at Carter Madison in 2020. John also held the position of Chief of Staff to the President at REEF, a VC-backed tech startup, where they oversaw various operational and HR-related responsibilities from 2020 to 2021. Before that, they were the Head of Human Resources at Catalent Pharma Solutions, leading the HR function for Paragon Bioservices. John has also worked at Morgan Stanley as a Vice President and at Bridgewater Associates as the Head of Executive Recruiting. John started their career in the US Navy, where they served as a Naval Officer. Overall, John has gained extensive experience in HR, leadership, and management throughout their career.

John Van Meter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in History and Engineering from the United States Naval Academy. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
