Kevin Phaup

Kevin Phaup serves as an Assistant Professor of Industrial Design at James Madison University since August 2016, following a position as an Instructor at the University of Notre Dame from August 2013 to August 2016. With expertise in Adobe Suites Software, Digital Solid Modeling, Rapid Prototyping, and Design Thinking, Kevin has a solid foundation in design education. Previous experiences include an internship at Glaserworks focusing on CAD work with Revit Architecture, site director at Future Men managing operations at a residential care facility for troubled teens, electrician at MC Electric, and staff member at Doulos Ministries. Kevin also gained fabrication experience at Iron Crafters, supervising a crew and working with steel and aluminum products. Academic credentials include a Master of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from the University of Notre Dame and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design, as well as Architecture from Miami University.
