Shannon O'Brien

Shannon O'Brien is a CAD Production Designer at JAMES MICHELLE since November 2022, and concurrently serves as a Pratt DICE Instructor at Pratt Institute, teaching high school students about industrial design, design research, and production methods since February 2020. Previous roles include CAD Production Coordinator at Frank Darling, where Shannon managed and trained the CAD team and collaborated with sales to streamline design processes, as well as Jewelry CAD Designer positions at Michael Gabriels and Sasha Primak, focusing on bespoke jewelry creation and 3D CAD development. Additional experience encompasses contributions as a Junior Designer at Robert Verdi, Inc., and various roles at Pratt Institute related to 3D printing and digital output. Shannon holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design from Pratt Institute and a certification in Comprehensive CAD/CAM for Jewelry from the Gemological Institute of America.
