Val Langenburg

Val Langenburg currently serves as the Group Chief Information Officer at James River Group since June 2025. Prior to this role, Val held positions at W. R. Berkley Corporation as Vice President E&S Technology and at Markel as Managing Director IT Operations and Governance. Val's extensive career in information technology and internal audit spans various organizations, including Performance Food Group as VP of Internal Audit and Collegiate Funding Services as Vice President, Internal Audit. Val began the career as Director of Internal Audit at Circuit City Stores and held the position of AVP Accounting Director at LandAmerica OneStop. Val holds two Bachelor of Applied Science degrees in Accounting and Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University.
