Chao Zhang

Chao Zhang is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering leadership roles across major companies. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Jampack since 2022, Chao previously held the position of Director of Engineering at Block after its acquisition of Afterpay, where responsibilities included leading risk management and engineering domains across global teams. Chao's prior experience includes positions at Uber, focusing on rider and eater growth, and at Microsoft, contributing to Azure infrastructure and design projects. Chao holds a PhD in Computer Science from New York University, an M.S. from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and a B.S. from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
