Deirdre McCarthy Gallagher

Deirdre McCarthy Gallagher is a seasoned mediator and legal professional currently serving as Mediator and Associate Director of JAMS Institute since March 2020. In addition to this role, Gallagher has been an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University Law Center since 2013. Previously, Gallagher founded and presided over Voices of Value Dispute Resolution Firm from September 2015 to March 2020, and served as Senior Mediator at the U.S. Office of Special Counsel from May 2012 to July 2015. Gallagher's experience also includes a tenure as Group Manager and Attorney Advisor at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission from May 2006 to May 2012. Educational qualifications include a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center (2004), a Master of Science in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University (1997), and a BA in Government from Harvard University (1991).
