Jaquelyn "Jackie" Alvarez currently serves as a Case Manager at JAMS since June 2020. In addition, Alvarez has held various roles at Florida International University since August 2015, including an internship at the Fisheries and Ecosystem Assessment Lab, where responsibilities include reviewing shark footage, documenting species, and assisting with baited cage placements in the Florida Keys. Alvarez also worked as a Student Assistant for the Student Government Association, managing inquiries from students, recording meeting minutes, scheduling for the SGA leadership, and coordinating events. Alvarez holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from Florida International University, as well as an Associate of Arts in Biology from Miami Dade College.
