Laura Abrahamson

Laura Abrahamson, FCIArb, is an experienced arbitrator and mediator currently affiliated with JAMS since October 2020. Prior to this role, Laura served as Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Head of Litigation at AECOM from January 2016 to October 2020. Laura's legal expertise is further demonstrated through positions as Senior Counsel at O'Melveny & Myers LLP from March 2014 to January 2016, and Associate General Counsel for Litigation at Occidental Petroleum from December 1994 to March 2014. Earlier in Laura's career, Laura worked as an Associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP from 1987 to 1994. Laura holds a J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
