Rafic Abou Zahr

Rafic Abou Zahr is an accomplished professional in the field of civil engineering with extensive experience in offshore renewable energy projects. Currently serving as Lead Superintendent at Jan De Nul Group since November 2019, Rafic has overseen significant operations at the Gode Wind 3 and Borkum Riffgrund 3 Offshore Windfarms, involving the transport and installation of numerous wind turbine generator foundations. Prior roles include Project Engineer and Operational Superintendent for the Formosa 2 Offshore Wind Farm and Trianel Windpark Borkum II, as well as internships at BESIX and Najd Madi Real Estate, where Rafic gained hands-on experience in civil engineering and quality control. Rafic holds multiple master's degrees in Civil Engineering from Université libre de Bruxelles and Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and a diploma in Civil Engineering from Lebanese University.
