Asheesh Maroo

Asheesh Maroo is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit risk management and business development across various financial institutions. Currently serving as the Chief Credit Officer at Jana Small Finance Bank since August 2025, Asheesh previously held significant roles at YES BANK, including National Credit Head for Commercial Retail/Rural, Supply Chain Finance, and SME, as well as Group President overseeing risk management and portfolio management for SME and Agricultural finance. Prior experience includes positions as Executive Vice President of Business Development at ICICI Bank and Group Manager at Birla Global Finance Company Limited. Asheesh is a Chartered Accountant, having completed formal education at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and further enhanced knowledge in fintech and financial blockchain through an advanced program at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
