Kate Cox

Kate Cox is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic programmes, research, and analysis in the fields of security and defence. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Programmes at Janes since November 2020, Kate has held various principal and managerial roles within the company, focusing on country intelligence for the APAC and Northeast Asia regions. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at RAND Corporation, where leadership of analyst teams and the delivery of high-level research consulting projects for various governmental and multilateral agencies were key responsibilities. Kate has also contributed as a researcher at the Royal United Services Institute and held a research assistantship at RAND Corporation prior. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Conflict, Security and Development from King's College London and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Cambridge.
