Brett S Riggi, CFA, currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Executive Leadership Team at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a position held since May 2024. Prior to UBS, Brett worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from February 2008 to July 2013, focusing on sales, research, and capital markets technology as Managing Director and CIO. Additional experience includes leadership roles in Global Research Technology at Merrill Lynch from September 2001 to January 2008 and a foundational role as a Software Engineer and Team Leader at Merck from 1993 to 1999. Educational credentials feature an MBA in Finance and Technology Strategy from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Chemistry from Yale University.
