Bryan MacLeod

Bryan MacLeod has extensive experience in the field of information security. Bryan currently serves as the Global Head of Information Security at Janus Henderson Investors, where they lead a team of 24 and manages a multi-million-dollar annual budget. Bryan is responsible for various aspects of information security, including Identity and Access Management, IT security, Governance, and Compliance/Regulatory Auditing. Bryan has also developed functionality for an Identity and Access Governance tool to automate regulatory control for internal clients.

Prior to their current role, Bryan worked as an Independent Consultant, where they launched a small consulting practice. Bryan conducted training programs for new information security professionals and provided business consulting services to companies in the same field. Bryan assessed the information security needs of various organizations and made recommendations to improve their programs.

Before becoming an independent consultant, Bryan served as an Information Security Manager at OppenheimerFunds. Bryan led a team of 8 and was responsible for developing information security abilities and architecture for networking, infrastructure, and solution development. Bryan managed a $2.7 million annual budget and served as the second in command to the Chief Information Security Officer.
