Benjamin Izenberg is currently working as a Substance Abuse Counselor II and Case Manager II at Janus of Santa Cruz. Previously, Benjamin worked as a Research Assistant at Dr. Jeremy Yamashiro's Collective Memory Lab where Benjamin developed a study analyzing memories of adults aged 60 and over who identify as LGBTQ+. Benjamin has also worked as a Server at Chocolate the Restaurant and Makai Pacific Island Grill. Additionally, Benjamin served as a Program Leader, Head Lifeguard, and Camp Counselor at Habonim Dror North America, focusing on social justice and conscious living activities for children. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Art from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
