Nozomi Nose

Nozomi Nose is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in public-private partnerships (PPP) and infrastructure financing. Currently serving as Chief Representative and Deputy Director for Social Infrastructure Finance at Japan Bank for International Cooperation since September 2017, Nozomi Nose is responsible for managing direct debt financing for railway projects globally, including transaction origination and due diligence. Prior experience at The World Bank included roles as an Infrastructure Specialist and Municipal Finance Specialist, where Nozomi Nose facilitated the development of enabling environments for private sector participation in East Asia and structured municipal finance operations. Previous positions also include Private Sector Investment Finance Officer at Japan International Cooperation Agency and various roles at Morgan Stanley Japan Securities, ORIX Corporation, and Resona Bank. Nozomi Nose holds an MSc in Development Finance from The University of Manchester.
