Born and raised in Nepal, Dipta has recently relocated home after approximately two-and-a-half decades abroad. Dipta's career has spanned a range of industries and organizations, across the private and public sectors, including management consulting, banking, and venture capital. He is passionate about the possibilities that digital technologies present for emerging and frontier markets and the outsized impact that tech-enabled business solutions can generate in these environments. He has made deep impact at Morgan Stanley, KPMG Consulting, PwC Advisory, World Bank, International Finance Corporation and more. Dipta created IFC’s first seed stage investment program - IFC Startup Catalyst. While he was at IFC, Dipta was also Advisor to the Executive Vice President and CEO where he supported on the overhaul of IFC’s strategy and organizational structure. Has been on the Advisory Board for 500 Startups Latin America and more. He is now the Founder Partner at 54i Ventures in Kathmandu, Nepal.
