Robert Downward

Director, HVAC at JAROS BAUM AND BOLLES

Robert Downward serves as a Director of HVAC at Jaros, Baum & Bolles. Since joining the firm in 1994, he has served as a Project Engineer on a variety of broadcast facilities and office buildings as well as museum and memorial spaces.

Mr. Downward has provided expertise on a number of notable New York City office building projects, including the Time Warner/CNN occupancy at the Time Warner Center, Related Companies executive offices at the Time Warner Center, and the One Manhattan West development. He has assisted the firm with projects for leading laboratory facilities, such as tenancy work for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s Memorial Hospital Building, Rockefeller Research Building, and Schwartz Research Building in New York City. Mr. Downward’s involvement has helped JB&B to create world-famous memorials and museums, including the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City’s Meatpacking District and the National September 11 Memorial & Museum at the World Trade Center.

Mr. Downward is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and his Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College.
