Evan Williams

Evan is a Senior Landscape Architect at Jasmax with extensive experience in the design and delivery of urban realm projects of varying scale and complexity. He is passionate about city making – the places we live, work, play – and how our communities are connected. As a project leader, Evan enjoys working collaboratively with client and consultant teams to deliver exceptional outcomes on time and within budget.

Having completed a diverse range of projects, Evan has developed the ability to balance design aspirations with stakeholder inputs and technical requirements. He has worked in partnership with mana whenua representatives to integrate design solutions that express Māori values. This holistic approach has resulted in a legacy of award-winning projects throughout New Zealand that have been embraced enthusiastically by communities.

Evan provides leadership at all stages of project delivery including: confirmation of brief, design and delivery strategy, consultant coordination, stakeholder consultation, technical review and implementation of work on site. His project experience ranges from masterplanning through to urban parks and plazas with a focus on the integration of transport networks and infrastructure in the urban realm. He has 20 years' experience as a practicing landscape architect.
