Nick Moyes

Principal, Registered Architect at Jasmax

Nick joined Jasmax in 2004 and has been a Principal and Jasmax Director in the Auckland office since 2012. Nick has broad international experience in North America, Europe and Asia with a variety of typologies and scales.

A multi-award winning architect, Nick’s project experience is eclectic and exceptional. He has worked on masterplanning cities in China to boutique offices in North America. Nick is drawn to projects that help communicate and define strategic objectives of clients.

Nick's extensive experience has led to a strong understanding of the design and delivery of complex and large scale projects across mixed-use, commercial, aviation, pharmaceutical and research projects.

Nick’s passion for sustainable design means that his buildings often break paradigms: from the design of New Zealand’s first NZGBC 5 Star rated NZI Centre in 2009, to the ground-couple heat exchange system that draws heat and cooling from the earth in Hamilton’s APL Factory.

This design thinking generates long-term, multi-generational architecture and is born from challenging collaborative work with clients to overcome perceived obstacles.
