Bala Raju

Bala Raju has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Bala currently serves as the Head of AI & Data at Jasper, where they are responsible for scaling the AI and Data organization, setting the vision and strategy, and delivering AI features in the product roadmap. Prior to that, they worked as an Advisor in Big Data, Data Science, and ML at California State University - East Bay.

Before their current roles, Bala Raju held positions at several other companies. Bala was the Head of Machine Learning at Clari, where they built machine learning and deep learning models for optimizing sales funnel, sales forecasting, and sales outcome prediction. Bala also managed groups of ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts.

Bala Raju worked as a Director/Principal Engineer at Xage, where they built IoT security solutions using blockchain technology. Bala researched various blockchain technologies and identified the optimal one for the IoT security platform.

During their time at Sentient Technologies, Bala Raju served as a Director/Principal Architect. Bala learned new technology stacks and managed a team to build a massively distributed computing platform. Bala also implemented a secure sandbox environment for running experiments.

At Visa, Bala Raju held multiple roles, including Director/Lead Software Engineer and Software Consultant. Bala managed a team and developed innovative technologies to enhance VisaNet's security and authentication protocols.

Earlier in their career, Bala Raju worked at Ceon Corporation, Valista Inc. (iPIN), Interactive Transaction Services (iPIN), and Oracle Corporation. In these roles, they managed teams, designed and developed various software solutions, and implemented payment systems.

Overall, Bala Raju has gained a wealth of experience in AI, data, machine learning, blockchain, security, and software development throughout their career.

Bala Raju completed an AI Program at Stanford University in 2021. Prior to this, from 1996 to 1998, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Texas A&M University.
