Ruwani Samarakoon

Ruwani Samarakoon is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in corporate planning and financial analysis. Currently serving as the Manager of Corporate Planning at JAT Holdings PLC since June 2018, Ruwani has excelled in strategic development and performance monitoring, earning the “Best Performance Award” at JAT Excellencia 2022. Previous roles include serving as a Business Analyst and Personal Assistant to the CEO, where responsibilities included leading the company's IPO in 2021 and conducting comprehensive business analyses. Ruwani's early career at EY involved significant auditing responsibilities in various industries, laying a strong foundation for a successful career in management. Ruwani holds an MBA from the University of Colombo, ACMA from CIMA, and a BSc. (Hons) in Business and Management Studies from Cardiff Metropolitan University.
