Duane Frymire has over 30 years of work experience in the field of surveying and geomatics. Duane began their career in 1987 as a Surveying Technician at Advance Surveying and Engineering, where they worked for a few months. Duane then joined Nash Surveying as a Surveying Technician and worked there for almost nine years. In 1995, Duane worked briefly as a Surveying Technician at Moncrief Surveying.

In 1996, they started their own business called Frymire Surveying, where they worked as a Land Boundary Consultant for over 20 years. During this period, they also worked as a Consultant at JAVAD GNSS in 2014.

In 2001, Duane became an Assistant Professor at Mohawk Valley Community College MVCC. Duane held this position for 13 years, until 2014.

In 2016, they returned to JAVAD GNSS, where they currently work in survey equipment sales.

Duane Frymire's education history includes a variety of degrees and fields of study. Duane attended Concord Law School at Purdue University Global from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained an Executive Juris Doctor degree in Law. During the same period, they also earned a Bachelor of Science Law degree from the same institution. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1995, Frymire attended SUNY IT Utica/Rome, where they studied Civil Engineering Technology/Technician. Before that, from 1992 to 1995, they attended Sports men and women careers, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Surveying Technology/Surveying, as well as an Associate of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology/Technician. In 1985 to 1987, Frymire attended Hennepin Technical College, where they completed a Diploma program in Surveying Technology/Surveying.
