Mike Parker

Mike Parker has a diverse range of work experience in the oil and gas industry. Mike most recently worked as a Production Operations Consultant at Javelin Energy Partners, a Crescent Energy Company, starting in June 2023. Prior to that, from November 2020 to May 2023, they served as a Principal Applications Engineer at Reynolds Lift Technologies, specializing in Permanent Magnet Motors (PMM's) for Electrical Submersible Pumps.

Before joining Reynolds Lift Technologies, Mike worked at Equinor as a Principal Engineer in the field of Artificial Lift from September 2019 to October 2020. Mike also had a self-employment stint as a Consultant from August 2018 to September 2019.

Earlier in their career, Mike held the position of Senior Production/Operations Engineer at Surge Energy America from October 2016 to August 2018. Mike also worked as an Experienced Production Engineer in the oil and gas industry during this time.

Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Staff Production Engineer at Devon Energy from July 2015 to April 2016, and as a Production Engineering Manager at Swift Energy Company from January 2014 to February 2015. At Swift Energy, they also served as an Engineering Advisor and played a crucial role in artificial lift optimization in the Eagle Ford Shale.

Mike's work experience goes back to their time at Southwestern Energy, where they started as an Artificial Lift Specialist in 2009 and eventually became the Production Manager for the Fayetteville Shale from March 2009 to March 2013. In this role, they focused on optimizing production and mentoring young engineers.

Their earliest documented work experience was at Anadarko, where they served as an Operations Manager from November 1999 to July 2007, showcasing their leadership skills in the industry.

Mike Parker attended Purdue University from 1977 to 1981, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Chemical Engineering.
