Javits Center
Michelle Cabreja has a significant amount of experience working at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center of New York. Michelle worked as an Executive Assistant to Ed MacDonald, the CFO, where they provided assistance, represented interactions with customers and contractors, and reviewed and edited agenda items for board meetings. Michelle also maintained the CFO's calendar and arranged meetings. Michelle also served as the Convention Services Manager, acting as a main point of contact for the Javits Center before, during, and after events. Michelle organized event resumes, distributed floor plans, and coordinated with departments, contractors, and vendors. Prior to this role, they worked as an Administrative Assistant, overseeing day-to-day operations in the Convention Services department. Michelle returned to the Javits Center in 2012 and resumed their role as an Executive Assistant to the CFO.
Michelle Cabreja attended New York University from 2008 to 2009, where they obtained a degree as a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP). In addition to their degree, Michelle has earned a certification in R12 Oracle Payables Management Fundamentals.
