Danny O'Neill

Danny O'Neill has a diverse work experience in the legal and creative industries. Currently, they are a Partner at Palo Gallery since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Jayaram Law from 2021, first as an Associate from May 2021 to September 2022, and then as Director of Legal from September 2022 onwards. At Jayaram Law, they specialized in complex intellectual property and corporate transactions, serving clients in fashion, art, music, film, and technology industries.

Before joining Jayaram Law, Danny worked at DLA Piper from 2018 to 2021. Danny started as a Summer Law Clerk in June 2018 and became an Associate in September 2018. At DLA Piper, they had two roles. In the Entertainment and Media Transactional Group, they drafted and negotiated agreements related to music and digital media for various clients, including major artists and record labels. In the Corporate Group and Emerging Business, they advised clients on entity formation and financing documents.

Furthermore, Danny gained experience as a Scout at Pentland Ventures and as a Legal and Business Affairs intern at Pentland Brands in 2017. Danny also worked at Masur Griffitts + LLP as a Summer Legal Intern in 2018.

Danny's early career includes roles as a Startup Practicum Fellow at the University of Miami School of Law in 2018, providing legal services to startup companies, and as a Legal Intern/Project Coordinator at BYTON in 2018.

Additionally, they have marketing and merchandising experience as a Marketing Intern and Merchandiser at Pentland Brands in 2014 and 2016, respectively.

Danny O'Neill completed their education with a diverse focus. Danny first attended St. Mary's College of Maryland from 2010 to 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Spanish Language and Literature. Afterward, from 2012 to 2013, they attended Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they focused on Design and Applied Arts.

In 2016, Danny O'Neill enrolled at the University of Miami, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree in 2019. Danny'sstudies at the university specialized in Technology, Media, Emerging Business, and Public Policy.

In terms of additional certifications, Danny O'Neill became a Licensed Attorney through the New York State Bar Association in June 2021. Danny also holds a certification in Spanish Language Level B.2, obtained from the Gobierno de Barcelona, although the specific month and year of acquisition are not provided.
